Back again after a long absence....one could say I've had a busy summer. Just this last weekend, I was the best man in the wedding of an old friend and a new friend. Very little sleep, and lots of action, that's for sure. I think I'll get to rest up tonight, however. And I'm going to need it - my brain is incessantly reminding me that fatigue is a severe detriment ot my emotional state - which is precarious enough already. Of course, I did learn an important lesson this weekend: Bachelor parties are only fun while they're still going on. After they're over, you have to remember, with a much clearer mind what you did, and for me, it isn't particularly happy to think on. I really doubt most of my firends would understand that I feel ashamed about the whole thing. Women - or anyone else - weren't meant to be leered at like that, or paid to pander to our basest instincts. But that seems to be the whole point of the party - to do everything base you can, in a short period. I'd be a Big Fat Liar if I said I didn't enjoy the party, but, in retrospect, I think I shouldn't have gone. Ah well, maybe I can think of an excuse for the next one ( if there is a next one).
